I received a commission from one of my TikTok followers where they asked me to make a Barbie-sized version of the White Folklore Dress from Taylor Swift's Eras tour. To create this garment I had to study multiple screenshots and concert photos since there were no still images of the original garment. I then created a Barbie-sized version of the pattern and used a mock-up of the garment to test how different measurements would make the garment lay. Once I was satisfied with the measurements I cut the various pattern pieces out of the final fabric. Then when I was done sewing I used gold thread to add the detailing that is seen in the original garment.
